Ethyn Corfield is a percussion educator based out of Arizona’s West Valley. 

As a performer, Ethyn has marched with multiple organizations across DCI and WGI. Most notably, Ethyn has performed as a snare drummer with Impulse Drum, Bugle Corps, The Colts Drum and Bugle Corps, and Breakthrough Indoor Percussion. He has learned under many big names in education, such as Gary Juarez, Miles Kenobbie, Josh Nelson, and Sean McElroy. 

Since 2018, Ethyn has taught over a dozen high school and independent programs, such as PUSD Indoor Percussion, Estrella Foothills High School, Dobson High School, and Breakthrough Indoor Percussion. He now works as the Percussion Caption Head for Agua Fria High School in Avondale, Arizona, as well as a Snare Drum Technician for The 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in New London, Connecticut. 

Ethyn is excited to join the LINEA staff as a snare drum technician for the 2025 competitive season!
