Gillian Ruby is a music educator and percussionist from Phoenix, Arizona. They earned their bachelors in music education from NAU where they studied percussion under Dr. Stephen Hemphill. 

Ruby’s performance experience includes several NAU musical ensembles including the LMB Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, Orchestra and Wind Symphony as well as the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra. She also performed with The Academy front ensemble from 2017-2021.

Educationally, they have taught front ensemble percussion at Thunderbird High School, Liberty High School, Millennium High School, Centennial High School, and North Peoria Indoor Percussion. This is their second year with LINEA.
