Neechelle Henson
This is Neechelle’s second season with LINEA. She is an Arizona native, currently serving her eighth year as visual caption head, drill writer, and show designer for Horizon High School. Neechelle began teaching dance at a young age and went on to work with over a dozen Arizona high schools teaching visual movement, color guard, cymbals, flute, and conducting. Neechelle also worked with Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps on their 2014 field show, the Arizona Academy Drum and Bugle Corps 2015-2019, and was on staff with Pulse Percussion for their 2016 season.
Neechelle’s performance experience includes 22 years of competitive dance and 12 years of music performance (marching and concert). She has been a part of many independent marching ensembles, including Mosaic Independent Percussion, Dark Sky Percussion, Arizona State University Indoor Percussion, Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps, Breakthrough Indoor Percussion, and Pulse Percussion. She has also made a number of appearances in the Russian Nutcracker and the Snow Queen Ballet.
Neechelle is a graduate of Arizona State University where she received her dual Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, and she is a graduate of Pima Medical Institute where she became an Associate of Applied Science in Health Care Administration and a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. She now spends her days working at Mayo Clinic. When she has down time, Neechelle enjoys drinking coffee and binging tv shows with her husband and their four dogs - Theodore, Eleanor, Charlie, and Rylie!
